Overview

Meeting Rooms are now more resilient and easier to manage. Unintentional disruptions like refreshes, network drops, or permission issues no longer end sessions. With seamless rejoin and enhanced host controls, meetings continue without interruption for a smoother live experience.

Seamless Rejoin for Uninterrupted Meetings

Sessions stay active even if the host disconnects unexpectedly.

What’s new:

  • Meetings no longer end when the host disconnects unintentionally

  • Hosts can instantly rejoin the same session

  • Attendees remain connected without disruption

No resets. No confusion. Just continuous meetings.

Smarter “End” and “Leave” Controls

Hosts now have clearer and safer exit options.

New controls:

  • End Meeting for All → Instantly ends the session for everyone

  • Leave → Prompts host reassignment before exiting

What this enables:

  • Prevents meetings from being left without a host

  • Ensures smooth host handoff

  • Quickly search and assign a new host

Automatic Host Restoration

Host roles dynamically adjust when the original host returns.

What’s improved:

  • Original host automatically regains host privileges

  • Temporary host reverts to participant

  • No manual reassignment needed

Built for Real-World Reliability

Designed to handle common disruptions seamlessly:

  • Refreshes, network drops, and permission issues

  • Continuous sessions without forced restarts

  • Smooth, uninterrupted collaboration

Host Without Interruptions

Focus on your meeting, not technical hiccups.

With seamless rejoin and smarter host controls, Meeting Rooms are now more reliable, flexible, and easy to manage end-to-end.
